NMC Commissioner Dr. Vipin Itankar Extends Best Wishes
Nagpur, April 6: Kumar Ashirwad today assumed charge as the District Collector of Nagpur, taking over from outgoing Collector Dr. Vipin Itankar. On this occasion, Dr. Itankar extended his best wishes to him.
After taking charge, Kumar Ashirwad convened a meeting with department heads to review the functioning of various departments, along with key schemes and important issues under their jurisdiction.
Prior to this appointment, Kumar Ashirwad was serving as the District Collector of Solapur. During his tenure as the Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad in Gadchiroli, the “Phulora” initiative implemented for primary school students during the COVID-19 period received national recognition. In Solapur as well, he actively promoted transparent governance and administrative efficiency.
